Melissa Renee Anderson (21) has graduated and now is attending Texas A & M University. AKA, Missy, has been playing soccer for 8 years, 4 years as a started on the Varsity and 4 years playing recreational and club play for the Klein Soccer Club. Although Missy was a starting offensive forward in Klein, scoring 69 goals in her 4 years, she was moved to defense as a freshman with the Lady Bears. Since then she has found her perfect playing position, earning “All District” honors in 2006, 07and 08 and MHS 100% award in 2006. Missy is a straight “A” student at MHS and is currently ranked 25th in her class.
Missy is a member of the National Honors Society, a member of FFA, and volunteers at community nursing homes. Her favorite subject is Math and her favorite teacher is Ms Martin, her Pre AP math teacher. Outside of soccer and school, Missy enjoys equestrian activities including winning numerous awards with her horse “Foxy”. Missy's family includes her dad (Mark - MHS Lady Bear Soccer Dad) and her two younger sisters, Jackie (14) and Mackenzie (12) who both plan on playing for the Lady Bears in the future.
