She played forward, defense and trained as goalie for two years under Angel Estrada who was a professional soccer player for Mexico. Sara is confident yet humble and always determined to be at her best.
Outside of school, Sara volunteers on Sundays as Shepherd and cares for two and three year old children at Fellowship of the Woodlands Church. She likes to hang out with family and friends and care for her animals, which at the moment includes seven Boxer puppies. She lives with her dad (Bill) and mom (Donna) and is the youngest of two children and last to leave the nest. She has a brother, Billie (25) and a niece, Averi Jane (15 months) who melts her heart. Sara is focused, has a plan and reaches her goals. She has been an honor roll student since the 6th grade, began earning high school credits in the 8th grade and taking honors and AP classes her freshman year. She began earning college credit hours attending Montgomery College and was awarded and fulfilled an EFTA Veterinary Internship in the summer of 2007. As a senior, she is in the top 4%, ranking 12th in her class and continues to earn college credit hours attending Montgomery College in addition to the demands of high school and soccer. Her dream and goal is to become a veterinarian. She was accepted to LSU and Texas A&M University but has accepted Texas A&M’s offer and plans to major in Biomedical Science and continue on to graduate school to become a veterinarian.
