Candice Nicole Sion (#17) is a senior on the Lady Bear Soccer Team. Candice has been playing soccer for 13 years, 4 of those years with the Varsity Lady Bears. The other years were spent playing on recreational teams and playing club soccer with Challenge and Rush Extreme Soccer Club. Candice has played many positions on the field except for goalie. She has scored many goals in her high school career. Candice played defense, both her Freshman and Sophomore year, earning defensive honors both years. Her Junior year, Candice moved up to the midfield making a tremendous impact on the field. Candice has earned 1st team All District Honors for 3 years in a row, and has earned Most Valuable Player, and Defensive Player of the Year for the High School Awards. Candice is a member of the Art Club at Montgomery High School. Her Favorite subject is Math and English and her favorite teacher is Mr. Johnson who teaches Senior English. Outside of school Candice enjoys playing with her dog and hanging out with her sister, Rushelle. She plans to go to College to play soccer and studying nursing. Candice lives with her mom, Jenniene, who is Candice’s biggest fan at every one of Candice’s games.
